The stay was great. Very clean room, very good hospitality, very affordable. If I came back to HTown, I’d definitely stay here.

Although the hotel was clean it is dated. The behind the desk lady wasn't helpful at first but after I was very nice to her she came around and even called me while we were out getting something to eat to tell me our room was ready and we could get in early. But...this was when the electricity was out in a big part of Houston and the hotel did very little to take care of the customers. No grab and go breakfast (which is another Covid excuse for not providing service to costomers) for so many who had no food, no way to go get food, and nothing around open. I'm assuming a manager or someone in charge of this hotel had working cell phones and transportation where many us didn't. I know if I had been in charge at the very least I would have offered to go somewhere for food for people if only to get sandwich makings. They gave no information for the situation and acted like it was a big imposition to even be asked for information. My husband walked over to the nearby La Quinta and was greeted my a friendly man who gave him what he new was going on and where there was electricity. Of course we were presented with a full bill upon leaving even though there was no electricity and no services given during that whole day.

The hotel was nice for the price, especially the amenities. I like the microwave and fridge. I'd give it 4 stars out of 5 because of my experience after the outage. I had initially booked 2 nights but only stayed one. Power was lost 15 minutes before I left for work on my first morning, so not much of an inconvenience, nor the fault of the hotel. The problem was when I returned to the hotel after work and the power was still out. I'm still not blaming the hotel, the problem was that I was initially refused a refund for my second night. I had to write to management to get it back. Since I booked through Hotels.com, it was a second level that I had to communicate with for my refund. Ultimately, I was refunded my second night and I all was made right, but it was more work than it should have been for me to get that refund. Bottom line, I'd stay again.

Great stay bice friendly service convenient to shopping and eateries

MY STAY WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND THE RATE WAS REASONABLE. HOTEL WAS CLEAN AND CLOSE PROXIMITY TO LOCAL SHOPS AND AIRPORT. I MISSED MY ORIGINAL FLIGHT OUT AND IMMEDIATELY WENT BACK TO THIS HOTEL FOR ANOTHER NIGHTS STAY, WHICH WAS JUST AS COMFY.

Hotel is very clean and the workers were pleasant. I checked in after midnight and although there was no shuttle at that time, it is a quick Uber ride.
