Hawks Cay Resort

We booked a king size bed and got 2 smaller beds as well as the cleaning staff left a dirty towel in our bathroom before we arrived. We had asked for 2 champagne glasses as we brought our own champagne and were then brought 2 wine glasses instead (concierge said they don't have champagne glasses after we received the wine glasses) which had finger prints and looked foggy all over, they did bring us clean ones after. Also due to covid they didn't have room services, which we've stayed at other resorts since this all started, and they've all had room services. For $900 for 2 nights we expected better than this. The staff was very nice, I will give them that.

The resort is top notch. The amenities are awesome and everything is in great condition. The staff is probably the nicest staff at any resort we have stayed. We can’t say enough good things about them. It’s the perfect place to take the family and keep the kids entertained all day. Love the resort and how great the employees are.

This place was perfect for our family. They have dolphins on site. My daughter and I went swimming with them and made memories that will last forever. In the middle of the resort there is a separate pool and play area for families. They’re a pirate ship, separate pool, mini golf, soccer field, game room... My kids could’ve spent every day there. At the main resort (it’s all very close) there a 21+ pool and lounge area. Plus another pool and a nice lagoon you can kayak or paddle board in. The pools were heated. The food was all very good and reasonably priced. Everything was very clean and the staff was amazing. There were also activities for planned ever day a few hours apart. What can I say my family loved it and I highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing yet fun getaway.

There a a few restaurants, simply avoid Prime, it was terrible & overpriced.

The area is especially nice to stay, especially if a fisherman! The hotels lagoon and swimming pools are nice! Beware, the lagoons edges (beach areas) are very rocky and very hard on bare feet. The Covid situation kept some amenities closed or closing very early while we were there. Room seemed very "dated". Was expecting bit more for $$$ spent.

We had a wonderful time because we were with family. Making the reservations are confusing; be sure to note whether you have access to all of the hotel amenities, or not. Also, bring all of your own coffee, etc, it's not provided. The units are very pretty, but they seemed to have used the cheapest supplies to remodel. ( cabinets, bathroom fixtures, sink faucets, etc). Being previous guests, we were disappointed that all of the same stores, etc, are not open. Between the hurricane a few years ago, and Covid, it's understandable. The cost per night still remains high, though, so it is what it is these days. We hope that Hawk's Cay will be around for years to come.

Check in was a nightmare. They gave me the wrong room number twice.

Even though we rented an "Economy" villa and the Hawks cay ststes that it is not "Up to their" customary standards, the unit was filthy, carpets stained, no trash pick-up, it is a privately owned unit the Hawks sublets, but still no excuse. This units should have been dropped from their pool until it was cleaned and refreshed. I'll spend my money elsewhere next time.

Stayed 6 nights, loved it other then some amenities not available and they wouldn’t clean our room even once over the 6 night stay.
