Hampton Inn Medford

This hotel is in an area with a lot of activity but there were quite a few homeless people hanging around the hotel. We expected our car to be broken into at some point but it never was. With COVID this was not the stay I expect from Hampton Inn. Pools were closed and breakfast was a to go box that was not good. We had breakfast the first morning but never again. Also they don’t clean your room unless you’re staying for 10 days or more so we never had housekeeping service. The first night we were woken up around 3 am with an argument in the hall that went on for about an hour. Overall, it was a disappointing stay compared to what I’m used to at Hampton Inn. I wouldn’t stay at this Hampton Inn in this neighborhood again.

Quiet, clean and perfect for a place to rest your head at night when traveling I-5

One of the reasons why I booked at this hotel is the hot breakfast they used to serve, but due to the pandemic, they give you brown bagged stuff. We were there four nights and had the same stuff every morning , maybe try having other variety of grab bags ?

Very close to airport. Close restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff.

My husband and I were on a trip to meet up with friends along the coast of Washington, so I looked for possible options for an overnight stay about midway from our home in Lincoln, California. Medford met that measure; and I have stayed in Hampton Inns in many different locations over the years, and have always found them to be very comfortable and accommodating. We were a bit concerned about traveling during COVID events, but we discovered that every restaurant and place of business was careful to follow guidelines, including the Medford Hampton Inn. We stayed there both going, and returning from, our trip to Washington. I was planning to go to stay with my daughter and family in Portland this month, with a midway stop at the Medford Hampton Inn in both directions; but fires erupted and life changed so this trip was cancelled.

Hotel was clean and so was room. Unfortunately the a/c unit in room had to be adjusted multiple times and we didn’t get much sleep due to temperature in room. Also, water pressure was very poor and it took about 20 minutes to run bath for my daughter. Shower had poor pressure as well.

Hotel is very much in need of updating. No regular coffee in room. Noisy air conditioning. The entire hotel is pretty disappointing.

No complaints. Not the best, far from the worst. Above average though.

Very clean and marked thoroughly with tags showing the staff has paid attention to detail on what is regularly touched and cleaned. Each of the staff we talked with were very hospitable and provided great feedback on restaurants in the area. Easy access to main roads and nearby shopping for food or other items that may have been forgotten. Limited on additional amenties due to Covid going on, but they made adjustments to do what they can while maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff. Well done.

Most of all really good. Some of the workers at the front desk were very nice, others very short and seemed somewhat irritated. Not their fault but such a bummer to not have the free breakfast, use the pool, gym, or whirlpool. Felt like we should get a discount because of that.
