Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Near Universal Orlando

Great deal. Right down the road from Universal. Clean room. Perfect for what we needed for the night.

Room was a good size and for the price a steal. It was clean and in good condition, but the two things that killed my stay were: - red hair shaving on the shower wall, meaning that room service did not clean the bathroom well -red bugs on the shower curtain that looked like tiny bedbugs. We didn’t notice anything because we checked in late and were exhausted from our travel to the hotel. I told the front service clerk the next day at check out, and He was attentive and apologized and said he would tell the management. He did tell the manager, but the manager did not even come out to apologize or say anything to me as I walked out. He was doing something behind the front clerk, and continued on doing what he was doing. As a manager because I am a manager, I apologize to my customers if they are ever unsatisfied with the service I provide them, but I wasn’t even told anything by this hotel manager. Being that there were bugs in my room, I immediately would have spoken to the customer and apologized and tried to do something other than continue what I am doing and ignore the customer. This Hotel was clean and looked well kept, but these 2 problems ruined the stay for me at this hotel.

This hotel was very nice the people were very very friendly and I appreciate the service we got. They set us up with a room that was very clean you can tell that everything was just recently sanitized which I appreciate greatly with everything going on in the world. The staff were so friendly so helpful with everything, room service was also very helpful we needed more towels and more soap and they gave it to us within minutes which was a pleasure. The only complaint I guess I have is the bed was really firm, but that is just a personal opinion because I don’t sleep with a firm bed so I wasn’t necessarily used to it. But for people who do sleep on firm beds will not have a problem. They had breakfast ready and separate individual baggies because of Covid which I appreciated also they prepackaged a little to go bag. But for a weekend stay it was a pleasure and I truly enjoyed my stay and if I go back to Orlando I will probably stay at a hotel again. Thanks!!

Our stay was perfect. Close to Universal. Gulia, the young lady at the desk , was very helpful and kind. This was our second time here and will return in the future.

Bad smell in my room but it was a ok stay.

comfortable quick stay. The market fridge needed restocking, did not have soda I wanted. My room was not serviced during my two night stay.

The air conditioner made so much noise it was very hard to sleep also I think our room was by a motor or generator it ran constantly. Also the toilet made a lot of noise when you flushed sounds like it about to break!

I prefer to always stay at either the Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn whenever planning a hotel stay because of their cleanliness, prices, and amazing guest experience. This stay was a little different and I will say a bit disappointing. Cleanliness was still #1, so no complaints! But, when staying overnight, leaving for the park the whole day and coming back to find no housekeeping service was very disappointing. Mind you, I know that it is a common practice, but when I reserved the stay there was no mention of it. In addition, I have never stayed overnight at either the Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn and had no housekeeping service. So, when reserving my stay I never even gave it a second thought. I asked the Front Desk and was advised that they didn't provide housekeeping services for overnight stays, but that they would gladly provide any extra items needed (We just required extra towels and they were graciously provided). As always the Custome Service was amazing and I want to thank Jeremiah at the Front Desk for all his assistance! Last, but not least. I was very disappointed that no continental breakfast buffet was provided as this is also one of the many reasons I prefer to only stay at the hotels mentioned. I understand that we are living in a different time (The New Normal - Post COVID-19), but we recently stayed (9/18/2020 - 9/20/2020) at The Hampton Inn located across SeaWorld and were provided with a slimmed-down extensive continental breakfast buffet.

Hotel is located in a very convenient place and very clean. The reception staff was very helpful. I definitely recommend it.
