Extremely hot room
We did not have a good stay. The room we were in was extremely hot with no air circulation at all. It felt like we slept in a steam room. We asked for them to fix the air vent but no one came. The fans in the room were also not working well.

Pretty hotel, so-so stay
The hotel is very pretty, the room was large and clean. I was really surprised about the $25 +tax onsite parking fee. It really soured the stay to be honest. There is mention of this fee on the app. I had to search for it after the fact. It’s on the Key Facts tab, scroll down. It should have been in the breakdown of price where the other fees were listed.
I found the pillows to be really firm and hard to sleep on. The shower water pressure was low, because some of the water was coming out the spout and the rest out the shower head. You also have to find just the right position to get hot water.
Our room had a shear curtain with a swag off to one side. We didn’t see the blackout curtain, apparently it’s tucked deep in the corner way back.
Most of the staff were quite friendly with the exception of the lady who checked us in. I expressed surprise and disappointment about the parking fee. When I asked if there was somewhere else we could park, it would have been nice if she mentioned some alternatives in the area. We found out later that there’s a store just down the street that allows people to park for $5.
We didn’t eat at the restaurant, after close to $50 in fees after taxes, in the off season, during a pandemic, we decided that paying more than $25 for eggs was a bit much. We went to AIMacs down the street - all you can eat. ($25 for both including coffee).

Restaurant has top quality food! Atmosphere was incredible. Nice to be a 5 minute walk away from the hustle of Clifton Hill.

Lovely hotel! Amenities lacking somewhat
The hotel is lovely, a great location downtown, minutes to Clifton Hill and 10-15 minute walk to the Falls.
We had the luxury suite with a jacuzzi, the bed and furniture was very comfortable, everything was nice and clean, we were able to bring our dog which was great.
Covid makes everything harder unfortunately... my partner and I were having a little weekend away, and planned to have a nice takeout dinner and some wine in our room and enjoy the big jacuzzi tub, but after we checked in we had to go to the front desk four or five times, each to ask for a different thing that I think should come standard in a room, let alone a luxury suite!
First it was cups, for water, then some plastic cutlery, then an ice bucket, then wine glasses (which they provided two plastic wine glasses, which is ok I guess), then I asked them about the “bar amenities” as the hotel lists “wet bar and bar amentities” for those paying for the luxury suite, and the front desk staff told me “no”. Didn’t really give me an explanation, but just that the website description was wrong and they needed to change it.
I understand Covid sucks and they need to be careful, but when we were paying over $400 for one night for this suite, parking, fees etc, you think they could leave all the plastic, DISPOSABLE drinkware in the room and not make me ask for each thing?
There also was no coffee or tea provided in the rooms, which I thought a little stingy.
All little things, but those things make the stay nice.

A perfect little get-away
This hotel and our Traditional Mill room with a fireplace was exceptionally clean. My boyfriend and I were both impressed and pleasantly surprised at the extent of the cleanliness of the room, especially since we were a little paranoid about covid . We felt totally safe. We went away for our anniversary and this room gave the perfect ambience for such a trip. The service was excellent as they promptly sent up wine glasses upon request to our room and the staff were very pleasant to converse with during check-in and check-out. Also, the Inn is in an amazing location in Niagara for tourist attractions like Clifton Hills and a wide selection of restaurants. We often walked rather than drove to meals and day activities. Speaking of food, the hotel has a restaurant, Flour Mill Scratch Kitchen, that has an INCREDIBLE brunch. We ordered the endless mimosas and Lobster Benedicts and I would seriously consider driving back for that meal alone. We will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and would love to return in the future!

The parking fee of $25 per night was ridiculous as was the $15 per day resort fee considering the restaurant wasnt even open
