Hotel Valle

The location is excellent. You can't get much closer to all the attractions. The staff was also excellent! I loved the breakfast in the morning. My only issue was the condition of the room. Could use updating and had some stains that were a little gross.

This hotel reminded us of Fawlty Towers, but in a good way! A little rough round the edges, but all you need if only using it for sleeping, showering and a quick breakfast. Staff were lovely and moved us to a bigger room when we requested it. One of the cheapest hotels I found in Rome and decent for the price.

Convenient location in Rome however hotel is dated. Worst part about this stay was that the air-conditioning switches off at night, with no heating. Got very cold in the room and did not switch back on again till 9 am.

Great location rooms need an update

Barely any plugs in the room and the shower leaked everywhere all over the bathroom floor. Other than this the staff were really lovely and let us check in early and store our luggage, great location to explore Rome.

I booked hotel 2 month's before my stay, I emailed hotel inquiring about tours. I asked if I should book tours early and I was told " No need, hotel staff can help me when I arrive" WRONG most were sold out. I highly suggest book tours early. Hotel staff did help my book 2 tours, just not my 1st choce tour.

The property is in bad shape.. our first room was humid, smelly, dirty walls, AC was not! Working We asked for another room and moved our stuff to find out the AC was on but not cooling. The bathroom toilet smelled awful and had mold stains in the shower area. We complained to the lobby person and was told they would fix on the AC but that they had a limit on the number of hours it could run!! We had 2 hot nights.. breakfast was not what was shown on the website .. very poor selection of items .. even the coffee tasted weird. Staff was very rude and indifferent to our complaints. Pictures looked pretty good on the portal but our room was not what we expected.. would not recommend.

Besides the cleaning staff, front desk and other staff I interacted with were somewhat rude. The air conditioning they advertise gets turned off for the building every night at the same time and doesn’t turn back on till the morning. There were two electricity outages during my 5 night stay. Upon check-in I was told during check-out that I would have to pay the city tax which was fine. When I went to do so during checkout I was not informed that they only took cash. On top of all things, my room shared a wall with the elevator and due to its squeaking and hard stops, I was able to hear every time it was used. The hotel is also directly above a subway station so the whole building would shake every single day several times a day. I would not recommend staying here unless you can’t possibly find anywhere else to stay.

Save Trouble: Don't Book Here

My stay at this hotel was an extremely disappointing experience. Despite its central location, close to all amenities, the establishment fell far short of my expectations. Breakfast was minimalistic, consisting of two pastries and stale bread, with no fresh juice options, just tasteless watermelon juice. Additionally, the hotel was dilapidated and emitted a strong smell of dampness, which seriously impacted my comfort and health throughout my stay. The rooms were clearly dirty, not at all resembling the deceptive photos presented during booking. Furthermore, advertised amenities such as the bathtub were non-existent, which was an added disappointment. Another major drawback was the lack of available stairs as an alternative to the elevator. Access to the rooms was only through an elevator that could accommodate three people at a time, making movement within the hotel inconvenient. Moreover, the staff was not particularly friendly, further adding to my overall disappointment. Considering all these shortcomings, I decided to leave a day earlier than planned and find another hotel for the remainder of my stay. In summary, despite its convenient location, this hotel is to be avoided at all costs for those seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Nuestra reservación estaba pagada, al llegar dijeron.. tenemos un piso inundado, no hay habitaciones después dijeron tenemos un hotel cerca de nosotros mismos y los vamos a poder acomodar ahí y era una mentira porque no era ni hotel era la casa de un señor que renta unas habitaciones tipo pocilga y lo que creemos es de que lo que hacen es un negocio entre los de la recepción y este señor nos hicieron perder dos horas y al final lo que nos dimos cuenta es de que estaban mintiéndonos no recomiendo este hotel para nadie. Por fortuna pudimos localizar otro hotel y hoteles.com nos hizo el reembolso de esta habitación pero fue una pésima experiencia

Infelizmente não gostei, café da manhã sem opções, quarto escuro, ventilação e iluminação bem ruim, o banheiro inunda de água e não tem ralo, as paredes estavam um pouco sujas e encardidas. O valor que se paga na estadia pode-se hospedar em um hotel bem melhor, não vale o custo benefício.
