Occidental Nuevo Vallarta- All inclusive

Friendly people great food good atmosphere. I will recommend Occidental Vallarta

Horrible!! Will never stay at this hotel, first of all when we arrived at the recepcionest did not give us any information about the restaurants and when we went to our room the pillows smelled pretty bad. I understand that becouse of covid they have to take measurments, but really we have to reserve inorder to have food that is so pathetic im on my vacation and i have to know what time im gonna eat, at the Olivos we lost our reservation and went and the guy didnt let us in , horrible experience and buffet foot is nasty and very dry and old

The staff was excellent and the food was fine. Breakfast brunch was excellent.

The beach has palm trees which provides natural shade. The staff was great on the beach and at the lounge. The restaurants were good and again service staff was great.

The only positive I can say is the location but otherwise go to another all inclusive hotel. This property seriously need renovations. The paints are chipping off, the doors are splitting, the lamp shades needed dusting and the floor has built in dirt. As for their buffet and other restaurants in the resort, it was very disappointing because the food was the same almost everyday and the bad thing about it is because they recycle their food especially their desserts it was being served the fallowing day. The towels were also limited and the bedsheets were not being changed when asked. Lets not forget the bedbugs, I had lots of bites. From our last day they send us a letter for fumigation, I guessed a lot of people gotten bitten.

The front line staff is excellent. So very friendly and want to make your stay superior. The kids club leaders are amazing! Our son wanted nothing more than to be there everyday! The food, in my opinion, is some of the best of the all inclusive s I have stayed at... especially the a la carte.

First of all, I thought our room was in need of a renovation, but other than that Fantastic is the word I would use. We ate dinner at all the restaurant, great staff and very authentic foods, delicious. The pools and hot tub were very clean. The alcohol drinks, coffees and non alcoholic beverages tasted Awesome! I loved the fire coffee and margaritas the most. The beach area is clean, and walking the beach for miles is a huge morning activity, no matter where you stay. The beach venders are nice, and they left as soon as you said “no gracias”. There was a new construction being done at the hotel, but it was never an issue, ever! Get to know the staff, appreciate the hard work that goes into every aspect of your stay, and just enjoy.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Buffet was good quality and had lots of options. Pool was fabulous and access to equipment ( eg boogie boards) was easy. Room was pleasant and well cleaned on a daily basis. My only criticism is that it would be useful to have better drying facilities for wet swimwear. The Japanese restaurant, Tokyo, was not really up to par and was the only bad meal of the holiday. Overall a lovely holiday despite the current health crisis

Has the best food of all the properties that we have visited in Mexico!

Even though we were up graded to first club (thank you Expedia) there was NO service at the pool, not one server asked if we would like a drink, we had to get our own. One fellow in the common area pool was run off his legs though, thank you Sami, a very hard worker who did ask us. Good food, very clean. No wifi unless you are upgraded or pay $12 usd a day
