Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Lumberton, NC

We crashed here after driving all night until we couldn’t keep our eyes open anymore... so we weren’t expecting luxe accommodations. The lobby was clean and had a security guard with the clerk. The room we booked (one king) was not available for reasons not explained, but the check-in clerk was super apologetic and helpful, and we ended up with a room containing two queens... no big deal. The bed was comfortable, and the hotel was quiet, so we crashed. However, in the morning, we noticed there were some pretty fresh blood spatters on the wall in the bathroom—not like a murder scene or anything, but it’s pretty gross, nonetheless. (Yes, it WAS blood.) So we just decided to not make a big deal and just get out ASAP. It was at that time when we realized that the grab-and-go breakfast bags (replacing the hot breakfast advertised—thanks, covid) were only available at the front desk until 8 a.m. That’s a little insane; some people don’t even wake up until 8 a.m.! We got to the desk before 8:15, and there was no food... or desk clerk. Once we wandered all over the lobby knocking on doors to finally find her, she wasn’t especially apologetic... and after some pressing, eventually went to the adjacent office to retrieve and grudgingly give us two bags of muffins/danish. (Keep in mind... it’s only a few minutes after 8.) So, I guess if you need a comfortable, reasonably-priced place to crash, this place is just okay... just don’t expect too much.

Staff was nice, room was decent. Paint was peeling off the bathtub, heater/air conditioning was loose and wasnt bolted to the wall. Wall mounted thermostat didnt work.

Cleanliness during COVID is important to us. Seeing mold growing on the toilet seat was a turnoff. Couldn’t have been touched with bleach in a long time.

Stayed in a room with double beds, one bed looked neatly made, the other bed looked as if the covers were just pulled up, very questionable compared to other bed. Took pictures to show desk clerk, she relayed message to cleaning manager, manager made smart remarks from inside office, did not come out to address situation. After being tired from long trip went to sleep, woke up to take a shower, water would not get hot, and lastly heat was messed up in room, different clerk changed room second day but first night was horrible, will not stay at this hotel again. Would like to be reimbursed for 1st night.

Room was clean. There were no tissues and not enough hand towels. Proximity to road and not so tight windows made for noisy night.

Love this place every time we go to ft bragg we stay here

It was good. Great customer service beside one day we left at 8:30 in the morning came back at 9:30 to go to bed had to go to front desk to ask for a sheet the house cleaner made one bed and forgot about other and also took the towels and didn’t replace them but right away the manager called to apologize and said it would be addressed

The quality of the breakfast is so poor. The hotel took excuse of COVD-19 to give a breakfast bag for each custom which has two tiny muffins & one small bread, one small bottle drink. Just cannot swallow this junk food.

Small square bed pillows are uncomfortable. Place needs better building maintenance inside the room and bathroom. Water Stains on ceiling. Askew mirror in bathroom and askew lamp fitting in bathroom. Tiles peeling in bathroom

The room was very dirty. The tub in the bathroom was peeling and dirty.
