Looks good on the outside but the rooms are dreadful. Old style Novotel with visibly dirty wallpapered walls and our family room was so small you couldn’t walk around it without stepping on the beds. Cheap yes, but just too poor nowadays. Pity because the staff were very good and the chef and waiter in the restaurant produced superb food and service.

Nice hotel and location
Wide rooms. Good location. Clean rooms. Nice toiletries. Excellent for a business visit or a transit. Car parking is available (surcharge). The Restaurant in the ground floor is very nice. Breakfast is good but not excellent. Location is very good being close to city center. Stayed June 2015, traveled on business

Decent place, well located
The hotel is easy to find and on the edge of the old part of the city. Hence, it's accessible by car but only a 5 minute walk to the city centre, restaurants, etc. Reception was friendly and helpful and the room was fine - spacious and comfortable. Decent sized bathroom and separate WC. Didn't try breakfast. Only downside was the fact that the hotel were refurbishing the wooden parquet on the ground floor during my visit, hence there was an overpowering smell of adhesive on that floor. Not apparent on the upper (bedroom) floors though.

Weekend stay at conference hotel
This is a good hotel. Rooms were immaculate. Public spaces were spacious. The only downside was that this is a conference centre with a capacity of several hundred and at the weekend there were only a couple of dozen people in the whole hotel. The atmosphere was eerie.

Novotel in Belfort France
For the price it was a very good room. If you're a smoker it's one of the only places in Belford to stay. It was located just a few blocks from the main Plaza in Belfort, and only a few more blocks away from the citadel and the lion of Belfort. Overall a very nice place to stay on a budget. Also good for business. Close to Ahstrom and General Electric.

A good hotel in a boring town. We stayed in a quadruple room which was very nice. Parking garage in the basement of the hotel was cheap. Two computers with free internet access for hotel guests in the lobby. There was plenty of food to choose from the breakfast table and it can be recommended.

Nice chain hotel in a lovely town
Fairly standard for a Novotel, the hotel was very clean, my room (standard one bedroom) was quite spacious by European standards, and very reasonably priced. The location was great, just a few minutes' walk to both the old town main square and the newer part of town, and right next door to the Covered Markets (beautiful fresh food). My hopelessly inadequate French was not needed as all staff spoke English. The in-house restaurant had a pretty limited menu, and the room service menu was very limited outside of regular kitchen hours, but the food that was available was good. The front desk staff were happy to supply a list and map of all local restaurants. Travelling alone, I felt safe at all times in this hotel, and could happily recommend it to any other lone travellers.
