Helpful staff
Hello,
We had an overall good experience at the Bay House.
Positives:
Staff were very helpful and friendly. One of them offered to dry my wife's swim suit. She wanted to swim really badly as therapy but since we were leaving early in the morning it was going to be a challenge getting her suit dry. So that was a blessing.
Front desk staff did a great job of welcoming us and taking us to our room.
I had a salad in the late evening and that was very nice. Maybe a touch too much dressing, otherwise very tasty and satisfying.
Things to work on:
The door to room 12 needs attention. If I didn't find a makeshift way to fix it the door would have been rattling and keeping us up all night.
I don't think I like the idea of a shared balcony. Maybe a partition would create some privacy. Smaller space but more private.
not sure you can do much about this but the dogs in the neighborhood were yapping away A LOT. It was disruptive to our sleep.
lack of an elevator limits those with mobility issues. Thankfully, my wife is recovering from her injury and was able to manage.
Otherwise, lovely space for an overnight.
