top hotel!absolut gut!!!

Die nackte Wahrheit: Das Hotel: Super sauber, überfreundliches Personal, die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist absolute perfekt. ABER: das Essen eine reine Katastrophe! Das hat nichts mit guten Essen zu tun. Wir sind in Mexiko viel gereist und verbrachten 5 Nächte in diesem Hotel. Das war mit Abstand das schlechteste Essen von den ganzen Aufenthalten. Am Abend gibts 4 verschiedene Möglichkeiten zu essen, alle 4 sind durchgefallen, das beste war die Snack-Bar die am Tag offen hatte. Das hat ganz gut geschmeckt, die Restaurant würde ich nicht empfehlen!! Auch das Frühstück fehlt durch, die machen zwar vor deinen Augen Omlette oder Spiegeleier etc., aber lecker sind die nicht! Meiner Meinung nach muss ein Hotel super Essen liefern können bzw. gute Köche einstellen. Hier gibts eine Note 5. Sehr sehr schade, das Hotel an sich ist echt toll gemacht, man fühlt sich wie ein König, aber durch das Essen würde ich es leider nicht mehr empfehlen. SCHADE!

Incredible stay at Sun Palace. Food, service, room was all top notch. Would stay here again during our next trip to Cancun.

Wasn't much to do. Was really closed in and you seemed to be monitored while you was there.

The property was amazing. The renovations were perfect.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was in the middle of Covid & Hurricane delta hit while we were there. The resort was quick, educated and had an incredible plan in action immediately. They took care of us in a storm shelter, and got us back to the resort as quickly as possible. They gave all guests a 3 night voucher because of the time we’d lost during the hurricane. The workers are AMAZING. So kind, so thoughtful. They took such good care of us. I also have celiac disease and they accommodated gluten free meals so well! It was beautiful and a perfect stay. Would recommend to everyone.

The best hotel I have ever stayed at! Very complete in everything and beyond expectations. Also, I felt honesty and no play around or hidden fees that you have to pay extra.

The stay was amazing. Aromatherapy pillows available and aromatherapy in the room. Jetted tub was great. Drinks and wait staff were amazing. We definitely felt spoiled. It would be interesting to see if we felt the same during full capacity since they were only at 35% when we went. It was the perfect escape. Very cleanly and precautionary with COVID concerns.

Great experience and service! The beach is beautiful, the food is great, and the spa was so nice! We enjoyed being pampered the whole time we were there!

The hotel itself is very clean. They are on top of trying to prevent the spread of infection of COVID. But the second we got there we tried going up to our room and were forced to sit in the lobby with one of their workers that tries forcing you to do a time share seminar during your stay. This was my honeymoon so the last thing we wanted was to sit for three hours and be told we should buy something so we declined. My husband stopped her (her name is Maribel) after my softer declines and said, “I want to be very direct and honest and tell you we aren’t going to sit in a seminar during our honeymoon.” The next day she stopped us on our way to the pool to ask us to do a seminar. The third day we ignored her screaming at us from across the lobby on our way into the restaurant and found her waiting for us at the restaurant doors to harass us again, my husband once again told her, “We already have plans and don’t want to do your seminar.” She said okay, we went up to our room and thirty minutes later she called our room to ask us if we just have two hours to do her seminar. Aaaah! And then when it came time to leave, the hotel wouldn’t honor our credits we had for the spa. The hotel then charged my card three times for the same transaction. Pros: bed and room are very nice. Snacks are great. The bartenders and housekeepers are all very nice. Cons: persistent timeshare lobby workers. Beach closes at 6pm. Food isn’t bad but also isn’t anything you would talk about being amazing.
