4/10 Fair

Overpriced and unsatisfying
The room thermostat was set to cool at 74 degrees but kept cycling every ten minutes and making a terrible noise that kept us up all night. The bottle of wine we purchased was only mediocre and priced at five times the retail price. The concierge didn’t tell us anything about how close Little Italy was for dinner and instead referred us to the Euclid Avenue restaurants where we had a mediocre meal. The hotel rate was overpriced for the experience. I came away feeling disappointed and unsatisfied after really looking forward to staying at an historic and original hotel. I would not return.

Gem of CLE in University Circle.
What a fantastic little place nestled in the middle of all the museums in Cleveland. Everything was in walking distance! The breakfast was delicious and much better than any other continental breakfast included in the stay amongst other hotels I’ve stayed at. An absolute treat.

Short stay in Cleveland
Really neat place. The hotel staff was friendly and courteous. There was a full floor remodel going on, but it didn't start until after 9am and wrapped up daily around 5pm. Great location for museums, etc. Breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be returning.

8/10 Very Good

Pillows—yikes—foamy and lumpy, too thick, need to upgrade. HVAC units a bit noisy. No lemons at the bar. But still my favorite place to stay.

Excellent location, walkable to museums, botanic garden, and CWRU. The room is not very big but clean and comfortable. The inside is tastefully decorated and the outside is a beautiful garden. The hot breakfast beats most hotels in the area.

I stay at the Glidden House every year during Labor Day weekend for my visit and it always impresses. The staff are very friendly, the breakfast is excellent, and the accommodations are comfortable. Great walking distance to the botanical garden, art museums, and case western historical society museum. Love this property and all of the historical aspects that come with it. Well-maintained just come stay here and find out for yourself what a gem it is!
