Great Hotel!! Excellent location!!
Terrible service. I was reminded since I booked through hotels.com we could not use our bonvoy membership for access after they made us sign up for wifi. 1) check in was misleading 2) no bell boy? He’s the concierge so 3) they don’t have time or are not helpful with reservations, 4) harassed by security after we told him room number that we are staying there 5) no place in your hotel to get a drink If bar full and 6) you don’t have access to hotel rooftop listed as an amenity esp if you book through hotels.com or expedia 7) staff is rude, 8) wifi sucks but at least housekeeping staff Is friendly and does a stellar job and got late check out.
Their front desk staff are very friendly, I especially want to say a big "Thank you" to both Alma and Dalia, these two kind ladies helped me to talk to a Uber driver several times in order to retrieve my bag that was lost in a Uber car. I don't speak Spanish, while the Uber driver can't speak English, without these two nice front desk ladies, I would not be able to get my bag back from that Uber car.
Excellent location. Service at restaurants was too slow though and concierge had difficulty with English.

The steakhouse inside the hotel gave us the worst food on Christmas Eve. It is very pricy and we expected good food. Unfortunately the fish was totally not etable. They changed the fish to steak and the steak came out from kitchen in less than 6 minutes... Even worse, the steak was horrible, not eatable. Maybe they just took the frozen meat and preheated a while...still full of water...and they put on the grill. When the steak came on the table, the plate is full of water. We should call it "water steak", not etable! We paid a lot but tasted the worst food ever. This happened in a nice hotel Marriott, unbelievable!
Rooms are old and need renovation.
This hotel has a very good location. Service was outstanding from the front desk, concierge through room cleaning. Also They have a great taxi service which is very convenient and secure. Also the restaurant has very good quality food, the buffet has many options and it’s delicious. Very enjoyable stay!
The hotel was maintained in a great state of cleanliness. The location was excellent, and was even close to a church which allowed us to go to Sunday mass. The front desk personnel were courteous, efficient and very professional. And to top it all, we were pampered by the staff at the Executive Lounge, by Magdalena, Octavio, Roberto, Moises and Mauricio. All told, these contributed to a very heartwarming experience, worthy of the Marriott values. Kudos for a job extremely well done!
