Holiday Inn Express Indianapolis South

The sheets we're stained and I found a needle syringe on the top of my headboard, and there wasn't any shampoo conditioner or body wash to take a shower with. I was switched to a different room which had stained sheets.

Remodeled rooms. Rooms very clean. No room service though ( we stayed 3 days). Also, no breakfast service at all.

Everything was fine and the room was clean. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.

Room was nice, King with a foldout sofa. But, coffee maker was missing. No bedding for the pull out in the room. Requested extra shower towels and all they had were small pool towels. Bathroom door and wall was damaged, looked like a dog was scratching to get out. Ice machine on 3rd floor extremely noisy. Breakfast was closed at 9am, seems early to me.

This hotel is located in Indiana where it is mandatory to where face mask. My husband and I were the only two people wearing mask. I did not observe my staff wearing mask as well. Also we were only provided with hand towels and no bath towels. We were not happy with this stay

Air conditioner how old and barely kept it below 80. There were no hand towels and only one bathroom. No soap. We felt sorry for the one person who was on duty and could not possibly get the phone answer calls from anybody at the hotel and keep up with the mopping necessary to keep the floors dry with all the people in the pool. The place was understaffed and under supplied. It was clearly a management problem, not a people problem. The one person we dealt with at the front desk was very nice and was truly doing all he could.

Very easy stress-free check in, there's a long tile hallway you walk through to get to the elevators band it's the same hallway that leads to the pool area, the pool is open. I was wondering why the tile hallway was literally soaking wet and extremely slippery up until my daughter and I went swimming and realized upon getting out that there were NO towels whatsoever provided to the pool area, so you're forced to go back to your room carrying your shoes sopping wet in the elevator and using your room towels to dry off. Lol... They might want to think about putting some mats down because someone is going to fall and seriously injure themselves, it's only a matter of time. I also didn't understand why they only had 1 of the 2 elevators going, seems like the better way to practice social distancing would be to not have to cram like sardines into the one elevator. Overall it was a good stay though! They brought me more towels to my room with no hesitation, were polite, the beds are so so so nice and it's kept clean here, not rundown and not a shady vibe here at all. They do need to turn on ac in the common areas and hallways, everywhere but your room is sweltering. I'd stay here again.

Loud people in the hallway til 5am. Heard people yelling and fighting. Even heard a big dog barking! Windows are rather old and allow so much noise from the road it’s crazy. Bring earplugs and you’ll be fine

We generally really like Holiday Inn Express hotels. I was looking forward to their great breakfast, and then realized that due to COVID-19, that wasn't going to happen. They did provide a generous selection of prepackaged food. In our room, there was only 1 set of towels. Nobody was at the front desk, so I ended up finding the cleaning cart and getting clean towels from it. The room was clean and really comfortable.

Great receptionist, swimming pool, and room. We enjoyed ourselves.
