There is actually quite a lot missing. If you are used to 5* hotels and take a lot for granted, this hotel is a disappointment. One notices the hierarchy in the management of the hotel. The staff cares more about the satisfaction of their superiors than the hotel guests.
I could easily write more.
The very worst thing I found was when we wanted new towels because we didn't see the little card, we called the front desk before we went to the spa, we waited about 10’ & no new towels robes came! we went to the spa and when we came back to the room we had the little card on the bed.
A hotel where it is legitimate to put a linen card on the bed to tell the guest they don't need a new towel instead of bringing two new towels.
Upon check out, I let the hotel know that the stay was not great. Our flight was in the evening, we came back from town and wanted to pick up our luggage and go to the airport. We ordered a cab and it came a black Mercedes.
We thought that the hotel wanted to make everything good and that this was a gesture. But it was not and the chauffeur then demanded 12000 Forint! With the money you can go 2x to the airport. When I then said he should briefly contact the hotel, he then suddenly demanded 10000 Forint! It is not about the money, but about the principle.
So if you feel that you have checked out and everything is over, then you are quite wrong. There is still the Elite Mercedes rip-off. It was by far the worst 5* hotel vacation.
