Nice room terrible service
We arrived and the reception desk did not have our reservation. The receptionist did not speak English and we had to communicate via our phone translators. I had pre printed the reservation and was able to prove that I had one. The receptionist was on the phone with their manager in order to get instructions on how to check us in. The entire process took over one hour. We were then taken to our room where the A/C did not work so we had to get a new room. This process took another half an hour. When we arrived in the new room we had no hot water and had to get that rectified the following morning. The hotel is a “no smoking”property however the smell of smoke was pervasive throughout the halls. In all the room was spacious with a wonderful view of the city and a nice balcony. The room was clean. The bed was a bit hard for my taste. The pool looked nice and clean. In short the experience was marred by the poor customer service.
