Small but sweet hotel, nice room with very comfy bed and shower room. Was a little confused when we arrives as no one was in the main building at the front, the whole thing looked closed. We bumped into some other residents who guided us to the pub at the back of the building where wer found the lovely and helpful staff members who checked us in.
Room lovely size, but no dressing table/mirror area. TV, wardrobe and single lounge chair in there though.
Went to the pub for a drink but we arrive after food as we were on the late ferry. Great selection of drinks, but more staff than customers in, even though the hotel was full. It was a Monday night though!
Breakfast served buffet style in the restaurant which was accessible from the room inside the building. Terrific selection, well cooked Scottish breakfast options and plenty of continental options. All you would wish for in a breakfast included in the room rate. Although they did stop serving at 9.15, so you need to get in early.
