6/10 Good

The hotel is ideal for backpackers not for family or longer trips. The outdated facilities include a noisy bathroom fan that sounds like a helicopter. The bathroom is dark, and the heater/AC is dripping some water. The staff were good and very polite. The location is good, very close to everything.

The stay was kind of good but not bad, comfortable, clean, but there is no fridge in the room, the pool is small.

6/10 Good

Comfortable hotel, and clean. But dated. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced, but overall nice place to stay. But beware of hidden fees: my invoice charged me four times on HST. The IHOP is also ridiculously expensive. For two people it was around $60 and that also included the $15 discount. Luckily, there was a buffet restaurant just a block a way, which was more reasonably priced. The pool was very nice and clean.

Came here with my partner for my birthday weekend and had a great time. The room was very nice, exactly like the pictures. Very clean and spacious. We got the room with a hot tub and it was surprisingly a good size; we both sat in and still had extra room- super relaxing. The price was not bad for it being labour day weekend (2 nights: $700) the location was perfect, walking distance to fallsview and not too far from clifton hill. The staff were super sweet and welcoming. It was overall a great time. If you’re looking for a place to stay in niagara, i would for sure recommend staying here.

8/10 Very good

Good for short stay on a budget.

Overall, the room was clean. The shower takes awhile before the hot water comes up. Its an old hotel, so most of the accessories inside are dated or damaged. No mini fridge in the room, so you need to grab a bucket and get ice near the elevator. Also when you need to heat up food, you have to go down to the lobby, and use the only microwave in the building.

Bathroom was dirty, parking was a nightmare (blocked by police, no help from staff), and we wasted hours for a spot that costs $25/day – outrageous. Plus, hidden $5+ daily fees for gym/pool we never used. Great location, but not worth the stress or lack of cleanliness, especially with kids. Would not recommend.

I'm writing to express my disappointment with the service I received from person name April at the front desk during my recent stay. When I approached her to request some toiletries, she seemed uninterested and asked unnecessary questions. Despite my polite request, she questioned our entitlement to the toiletries and asked about our length of stay. Her demeanor came across as unfriendly and unhelpful. As a paying guest, I expect a certain level of service and courtesy. Unfortunately, April's behavior fell short of my expectations. I hope the management will address this issue and provide better training to the staff to ensure a more pleasant experience for future guests. *Room for improvement:* Front desk staff training, customer service, and hospitality. Feel free to modify it to fit your tone and style! 😊

Hotel rooms

There were several issues on my first night: the first room I was given had a leak as there was water in the bathroom. Staff were very efficient and fast. They moved me into the room above the one I was in. However, a maintenance guy had to come to the first room to check the leak. Then the maintenance guy returned to the second room I was in because the people who were given my first room complained of a leak. And it seems the leak was coming from the room I was moved to. The hot tub was recently fixed but the maintenance guy said it may be another issue underneath the hot tub. So that put a damper on my first night there. In addition, because of the leak, I did not use the hot tub again, which was a disappointment, as specifically chose a studio room with a king size bed and the hot tub. However, the staff were excellent in resolving these issues. The hotel, in my opinion, needs upgrading, especially for the prices charged to stay at their hotel. But overall the rooms were clean and sufficient. Just very outdated.
Lori, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Upon entering check-in wasn’t a long wait, walking to the elevator that is weird disgusting and dirty start. Carpet was filthy like it was never washed in years with dirt stain everywhere.. as we enter the room there’s a dog pee smells, filthy, washroom smells old and light wasn’t working. Phone wasn’t working. Carpet is ripped. I stayed in room 419.,bed closer to the washroom, sunk right down halfway the ground as the mattress was damaged. Tried to call reception is when I realize the phone doesn’t work. I went downstairs make a complain. No one came went back for a second time report the situation of the light and phone. Finally, someone came and changed the wire on the phone.. the light they said they can’t do nothing about it. If I want lights in the washroom. I will have to take a lamp from the living room, which we did. We took the floor lamp in the washroom. We ask to change room and was told they are booked, my reservation was made days in advance. we had one coffee cup and two plastic glasses , in our room for a total of two adult and three little ones. I called reception for couple more paper cup for our coffee. I spent two days and 20 minutes before I departure the hotel is when the cups came after making over 10 calls and visits to front desk. Ans someone will come soon and bring it. I booked pay at property, I got a notification of $447 billed without my permission, should be $100 deposit only, when I went down to the desk suddenly all these fee was adding

Price was great, location was fairly convenient to where I needed it. My only complaint is that the mini fridge does not come with the room by default and you have to request one for an extra cost. Other than that our stay was great!
