Bathroom update?
Staff was extremely friendly and helpful as needed. My only recommendation would be to upgrade bathrooms. Our shower curtain was moldy and the shower/bath unit itself was also dated and had some mold.

Okay
They saw i was using a walker because i have a bad back and difficulty walking. So they gave me a handicap room on second floor. The room was the farthest room from the elevator, the very last room at the end of the hall, makes no sense at all. I also cut my trip a day short because of my back issues, having difficulty getting around. Best Western said they refunded the last day, but the refund was paid to Hotels.com because that's who i booked through. No refund from Hotels.com as of yet.

Inability to maintain comfortable room temperature
My only issue with the hotel was the inability to control the room temperature. It was either exceedingly hot or cold as the thermostat appeared to do nothing. We were a large group, and this was a common complaint. Location, service and breakfast were never an issue. Employees were very nice and helpful.

The booking page listed an EV charger, which is why we booked here, so that should get taken down. The hotel doesn't know why it is listed, so I suppose it's more on hotels.com. Also, there was no mention of a pet fee when we booked, but that was charged when we got there.

Run down rooms
Wasn’t as gross as some of the other reviews but it definitely wasn’t clean. Sticky and litter in the drawers; dust caked in the exhaust fan; old bathroom fixtures that were kind of gross. Staff was lovely; breakfast was relatively edible; beds were comfortable; looked a lot closer to campus than it was - had hoped to walk but it was not walking distance. Photos were definitely deceiving as was the “completely renovated” description.
