La Quinta Inn by Wyndham New Orleans Slidell

It was very comfortable and I enjoyed myself

Room was clean, front desk welcoming. Outside grounds were dirty with trash laying in lawn. It took 4 or 5 minutes for the water to get hot and then was lukewarm. Saw a guest who brought stuff from the room that looked like a meth lab! I would not stay here again!

The room was updated with vinyl flooring around the bed area, but the sink and bathroom area still had old facilities, which needs updating.

Beds are super comfy and I’ve never had issues with this hotel but this last check in I stayed 3 days and had to get my husband to kill over a handful of roaches, I will not be coming back for a while they need to get pest control immediately

Arrived tired from a day's travel. The room did not have a bad smell, but it had an overpowering smell of air freshener. Unfortunately we did not do a bedbug check. Big mistake. We woke up the next morning and I saw 3 dark spots on sheet. Touched one and it moved. Tried to flick the second one and it turned into a blood smear. Turned over my wife's pillow and there were 4 more bedbugs underneath. She literally started screaming. Told the desk clerk and she was mildly apologetic but did not seem overly shocked. The plus side is that we got out of the room and back on the road VERY quickly... As quickly as we could shove our stuff back in the car. The bad side is that when we got home, we had to strip down on the front porch to avoid bringing the critters in our house. We left all our luggage and personal items out on the porch for a week until we could unpack out there, and carry our stuff straight to the washer in plastic garbage bags. So far so good. But is this grounds for a refund?

Water was ice cold for showers The maid did not replace soiled sheets and she did not vacuum any of the days. She didn’t replace our soap on the second day we stayed. She also did not mop the bathroom area. The toilet did not flush at all in the first room we were in and we had to flush two and three times each time we went to the bathroom. The front desk staff were very polite and friendly

Staff was friendly. The upkeep of this place was not good. There was a homeless person under the stairs the morning we left. Also not good!! We won’t be back and we travel through here about twice a year.

Don’t waste your time or money! I’d rather sleep in my car than in this place. Had to call customer service to get a refund. Our room was completely unacceptable. Blood stains on carpet and headboard, spider nests in the corners of the room, dirty sheets with crumbs in them, Sheets had brown stains all over them, white stains on floor and curtains, and furniture was broken. Don’t know how this place is still in business...

Woke up to roaches everywhere.. on the windows.. on the dresser.. packed my close before i went to bed.. woke up and grabbed my bag with roaches on it

Room smelled of cigarettes! Lights were on as if someone had just left out of the room.
