Sheraton Grand Chicago

Great hotel in a great location with breathtaking views. Service was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Long wait to check in (30 minutes), hairs on linen on supposedly cleaned beds, rollaway bed not in room as requested, sleeper sofa broken - mattress not attached to bed frame so people could fall through, no linen/bedding for sleeper sofa, took 30 minutes for linen to be delivered by housekeeping, room phone rang 3 times at 6:52am for no reason which woke all 6 of us up. Pool was dirty, had to call housekeeping for pool towels which were gone.

Room and view were great. Family stay is fine. Expect some noise with small children at the hotel and festivities across the hall around the holidays. Hallways were a bit messy by the morning. Wish there were less expensive public parking close by. Overall, we would go back.

The hotel was good. So my family and I went down to the lobby by the bar and we sat at the table let the kids play on there iPads and we all just hung around. The table was very dirty and we asked them at the bar if they could wipe it down. They told us to find someone to do it. I went to the front desk to speak to a manager and he never came. The last thing was when we were leaving we went to valet to get our vehicle and took over 40 minutes and they never said sorry or anything on top of it they still charged us the 69.00 dollars.

Water backed up in the tub during a quick shower to well over the ankles. Elevators are EXTREMELY slow. The line to get on the 1 of 6 elevators just after our check in was over 49 minutes. Hotel is showing its age.
