Long Beach A Sun Resort

Sehr weitläufige traumhafte Anlage mit weißem feinen Strand und Palmen - Katalogfotos lügen nicht. Auswahl an Speisen sehr gut, Abendessen und Frühstück sind super. Beim Italiener hingegen leider zu viel Wartezeit auf die Speisen (ob trotz geringem Andrang), beim Service wird gerne mal was vergessen.

Alles bestens, der Service, das Essen war in Ordnung. Unser Liebelingsrestaurant war Japanisch. Wir hatten Halbpension also Mittagessen war nicht drin, dort ist es allerdings extrem teuer, teuerer als München sogar. Wir sind als Paar verreist. Es waren viele Familien da, und Achtung; es ist sehr windig weil der Wind scheinbar vom Osten kommt, also warme Sachen einpacke. Extrem braun würden wir aber trotzdem. Das Wasser- und normale Sportangebot sind sehr gut. Wir haben sehr viel Neues ausprobiert und waren fast täglich Tennis spielen. Die Zimmer waren sehr gut und das Personal unglaublich bemüht.

Wer Urlaub an einem Traumstrand in einem rundum perfekten Hotel (Essen, Service, Sportangebot, Privatbuchten ...) machen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Wir würden sofort wieder hinfahren.

Was a bit confusing getting from the room to parts of the resort. The signs could be better.

Property in general was ok, however level of service offered for a 5 star was not accepted. From the day we arrived and from the room prep and dining options the service was very slow and not to the level of a 5 star what we paid for. Hotel is fully aware of my feelings and offered me a refund for extra however, this was meant to be an auspicious occasion for our anniversary and I am not happy with Expedia for the hotel marketing and the Sun resorts for the experience we received.

We liked the overall area, everything was well kept (plants, paths, etc.). All staff was kind and friendly. Kids club was a big plus for families with children, having a friendly staff also to kids who do not understand EN/FR. Overall good catering except for the ice cream that could be better. What disappointed us a bit were the locations within the area with a very poor or no wi-fi signal, even at the pool, as well as a lack of sunbeds near the pool and on the beach. If you do not wake up early enough, you probably won´t find a vacant sunbed anymore during the day. But on the whole we enjoyed the stay there.

Stay away from this hotel! We had a terrible experience there and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there. We stayed there for 4 nights, on our last night, when organizing our stuff before the flight we found out that someone was picking our things and took 150$ out of 500$ we had (probably didn’t take all the money because they hoped we wouldn’t notice), when reporting the guest relations and reception they didn’t seem to be surprised and didn’t really do anything about it, only promised they will investigate it. Obviously it wouldn’t help us and we won’t get our money back and not only that, when checking out- we found out some extra charges we didn’t have (also here probably there are people that don’t check their bill and pay things they shouldn’t!) and they didn’t even apologized on it and requested us to pay the money! I would expect them to not charge us for 120$ of charges we had in order to make us to feel a little bit better after this terrible experience of knowing that the someone of the hotel staff got inside our room and picked our personal stuff! Shame on you and hope other guests will be aware that there are thieves walking between them, whatcha your stuff carefully! The location of the hotel is great but there are other hotels that self-respect theirselves and wouldn’t allow their guests to leave with such a bad feeling and aggravation.

We had an amazing holiday at Long Beach. Excellent facilities and activities for the entire family. Only downside was the high cost of meals and drinks but otherwise everything else was great. Higly recommend this resort for families.
