Ayres Hotel Costa Mesa/Newport Beach

Easy check in. Clean room. Very quiet.

Great location! Overall room is ok, tv’s look old, they really need an upgrade. Our suite had view to the main patio/fountain. I would change the room carpet. Breakfast is good!

Not so good. In all fairness I was traveling with pets so I think you may get the lesser rooms.

The lady who checked me in could have been friendly. She gave me a room at the very back of the hotel that required a lot of walking to get to. Not only did I get a room at the very back, there was also a noisy room above me that wouldn't stop stomping around at all hours of the day/night. I've paid less money to stay at The Westin than at this 3 star hotel. Not worth the money.

The system was down when we arrived, so it wasn’t a good start to our evening, but within a half hour we were able to get into our room. The room was spacious and clean. I loved the open shower concept. It was quiet and we enjoyed free coffee, cookie in the evening and free mini muffin in the morning. The restaurant for breakfast was very European looking. It had a very pleasant ambience. You get free parking and a 10% discount at the restaurant. We will definitely stay again

Great check in personal . We were placed in the older building and it smelled funny, so left the balcony doors open and it help clear the air. The room was clean and well equipped and comfortable . They do except pets which was a plus for us.

I didn’t stay at all, my card still gets charged.

Room is nice, clean, spacious and has a good smell. Sheets are white, clean and and smells clean. Like the location, it’s very close to gas station, high end / practical variety restaurants, shopping like South Coast Plaza, DollarTree, etc, Japanese grocery like Mitsua and Tokyo Central. The price/room rate is very reasonable with free WiFi and parking. Karina in the front desk was so nice, accommodating, friendly and kind. Really good breakfast at a very reasonable price in the hotel restaurant which open at 6:30 am. The hotel restaurant have fluffy buttermilk pancakes, really good vegetable omelet, fruit platter (which I had, mmm yum). Definitely included in my hotel list to go back to (stay again).

It was amazing when I checked in they where so nice and informed me everything the hotel had to offer. The happy hour they had going on and if I had any questions just let them know. It was upscale style which me and my boyfriend loved. It had so many lovely art and statures. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas which was perfect for my boyfriend we where celebrating his birthday and Christmas is always around the corner. It was a perfect get away for us. The room was lovely I loved the jetted bathtub. And the chorizo flatbread during happy hour was delicious. I was over the moon with this stay.
