Schickes, zentrales Hotel. Nette Zimmer. Sauber, tolles Badezimmer. Leider hat der Pool übers Wochenende sehr kurze Öffnungszeiten.

Gut gelegen direkt am/im Bahnhof. Kurze Fußwege ins Zentrum und an den Fluss.

This is the second time we have stayed in this hotel in the last 2 weeks. The staff could not have been anymore helpful and welcoming. Our latest visit was 2 days before lock down, the staff had everything under control and had the "Business as usual" attitude, no compromising. We will certainly return, and recommend The Royal Station Hotel to friends and family.

The hotel itself is in a superb location for city centre shopping, bars, food. It's a grand old hotel full of character and history. The room I was in was very clean, lovely and specaious. I had an issue with the room above being very noisy, banging around and talking loudly. I rang up and went to reception, who dealt with it well. The next day the kind lady on reception (not sure of her name, sorry, but you were excellent) moved me to a far bigger room to make sure I would have no such issues again, with a lovely four poster bed. It was so grand and lovely, also very quiet! The breakfast, included in the price, was very nice. Overall, great hotel, in a wonderful location, full of character and very grand, too. Lovely rooms, great, friendly and helpful stuff. The value for money was superb - I paid less than £60 for two nights, in a superior room, with breakfast included. Would recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay back where we were married for our 8th wedding anniversary

Staff are very friendly and nice. Rooms weren't quite the same standard as the images but still seemed good value for money. Room has very thin walls, you can hear everything, was on 4th floor and could clearly hear cars racing up the street and every word and footstep of people walking up and down the corridor. Worth noting that the hotel does provide complimentary earplugs (which i didn't find until I was checking out) i think finding these sooner would have improved my stay (my fault). Breakfast was decent, would have been perfect if it was hot, it came in varying degrees of warm. Overall great value for money but not quite

I loved the hotel but I couldn’t sleep due to the noise from the road outside. It needs double glazing. The room was very comfortable and clean. Food was excellent. Was trying to book evening meal but got no answer from the restaurant or reception for about 3 hours. Would definitely book again but ask for a room away from the front of the hotel. Price was very good and so handy for the central station.

Bathroom had no heating, room wasn’t a patch on 213

We usually stay in another city centre hotel but chose the Royal because of the price and because we have stayed there before. Check in was prompt friendly and efficient. We were upgraded straight away (without our having asked) to a bigger/better room, and advised our rate actually included breakfast.

beautifull victorian hotel, warm, clean, spacious,great shower,friendly staff and good breakfast, what more do you want .
