You can read the other negative reviews to get a good idea of our experience, which was mostly the same. No shuttle, food, etc. though the web site advertised it and neither day or night clerks wore masks, nor any of the other guests we saw. We were first put into a room reeking of smoke (though we were made to sign an agreement not to smoke, as it is supposedly not allowed) and when we asked for a different room the clerk kept us waiting while he went to the room to see (smell) for himself. Based on other reviews I don’t understand why he wouldn’t take our word for it, he’d obviously heard that complaint before. One tissue in the tissue box, dingy linen and an overall sketchy feel to the place made us very uncomfortable.

No breakfast and no shuttle service
I needed / wanted breakfast but they have stopped serving it for more than a year. Had to get our own breakfast on the road. COVID is an excuse for some places to stop services!! Time to start up the shuttle and breakfast again! Hotels.com still states they have an airport shuttle and serve breakfast. It’s May 2021 so that has been incorrect for 14 months. Beware.

Couldn't get a receipt for the $50 deposit. Like nothing that showed evidence of the transaction for my records.
Also, no shuttle service. I booked this hotel because of the shuttle service (missed connecting flight and got stranded for a night). When asked about it, got "safety! Pandemic! " This would be more believable if the guy was wearing a mask at all... and 14 months is long enough to take that sentence down from a website.
Also no breakfast or coffee.
Clear they are doing as little as possible, but advertising like they provide a lot. Do not support this individual hotel owner. Don't have a problem with country inn, but this franchisee is terrible.

Disappointed in Charolette
The hotel advertised airport shuttle service. The shuttle services was NOT offered, so I had to pay for an Uber. The hotel was very dirty and run down. The staff was not very friendly, and was outside most of the time taking to friends Or family. I was not given a receipt due to computer problems. Room was outdated and dirty floors. The only positive thing was the cold A/C

I have stayed in some questionable hotels but this one was by far the worst. We ended up requesting a refund and had another hotel shuttle pick us up. The hotel was very dirty, no towels available, door to the room wouldn't lock. Kids and wife were quite uncomfortable. Also, the pool wasn't open(not that we would have used) and the shuttle wasn't operating so had to pay a cab. Shuttle across the street was running just fine though.

I was not informed of where to park and apparently parked in the wrong area so my var got towed. Overall it was ok. The stains (looked like blood) on the floor gave me the heebies.

Booked on hotel.com last minute. The hotel was so busy but the workers at the first desk were fast and friendly and effective with getting everyone rooms quickly.
