Smart Cancun by Oasis

Hotel is located in the city, most industrial environment, about 20 min by bus from the beach. The room was big with good aircon. The windows were not closing good, therefore it was partly loud, but in the 6th floor it was ok. Bathroom was ok, TV could have more programs. Breakfast was very good - many different offers. Only the way how to get seated was not very kind. There were several free tables, but we couldn't select the place, where we wanted to sit. When we moved to another table we were informed, that this is not good for us, we have to go back to the given table. Hotel has a very nice and big pool environment, many seats and lounges and a bar. It is easy to stay there the whole day. Water is warm and you find shadow and sun at every day time at the pool. Also the pool bar is very good and provides good cocktails. pricewise a bit expensive, but ok. We were very satisfied with the support to select and book tours. The concierge women was extremly advicing, offering and describing plus and minus and wantet really to fulfill our wishes - it was an excellent service. The reception service could learn from her. The reception was very slow, not very kind and not giving satisfying answers. But the hotel overall would be 1st selection at next time, since in total it offers good quality for a good price. Restaurants and a few shops are around.

Nettes Hotel, zentral gelegen. Personal sehr zuvorkommend. Zimmer eher veraltet. Handtücher, Seife und Wasser wurden nicht immer korrekt gewechselt.

Check-in war super, sehr freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer selbst war okay (nicht 100% sauber aber in Ordnung). Dafür ist der Poolbereich wirklich schön für ein Stadthotel!

Sind nur eine Nacht hier, da wir nicht in cancun bleiben wollen. Dafür ist es super!

From the beginning is was horrible. They told my reservations didn't include wifi, and sodas in the room be sides water. I had to buy a wifi card that was pretty expensive. Once I got into the room, the phone didn't work, TV was very working correctly, some channels frozed, while others you can barely see the image. The safe in the room didn't work, they had to get it replaced. And the phone in the room was very static, you can barely hear people Second day the water didn't work, and it was for a couple hours, it very disappointing when you have things to do and can't even brush your teeth. I will never stay here again, is very disappointing especially since I mostly stay in the Oasis hotels.

Great service, we booked two nights and we don’t have any complains. Reasonable price for everything they offer. All employees are very nice and helpful. The clean lady was great and a extra twin bed was send to our room free of charge.

I was impressed with Smart Cancun and in fact, extended my stay there by a few days. The rooms are spacious and well maintained and I always found the staff on the front desk to be friendly and helpful. Outdoors, there is a sizeable pool in which you can actually swim and not just dip along with helpful staff on hand. I would recommend Smart Cancun to anybody planning to visit downtown Cancun.
