The Riverside Hotel, BW Premier Collection

The room itself was comfy and spacious: King bed, balcony with a beautiful view, and I love the chaise to lounge on. Also a nice wide soaking tub. The big con to this hotel is its confusing layout. It took a long time to find the proper entrance (there's around 15 of them) to our room. And don't bother ordering food to be delivered to your room. It's impossible to walk from the lobby to certain parts of the hotel without at least one trip through the inner courtyard, and no matter how you get in, you need a key, so you'll need to meet them at the door anyway. Breakfast was included with the stay, but it was simply OK. Omelet was runny and bacon a bit tough; can't complain because it was free, but at $18 normally, you're better off at Tucanos where you can get the full Brazilian churrasco and salad bar for the same price at lunch.

Great place. This is our second time here. We stayed on our trip south and decided to stay here on our way home also. Very pet friendly and good food

Pool was awesome! Loved the setting. Sandbar food was good service a little slow.

Excellent one day stay. Great for kids. Wish our granddaughter could have been with us.

Buffett break

We had made a special request that they handled above and beyond our expectations!

The Riverside is our go to place when in Boise visiting family. We like the spacious rooms and the breakfast buffet. This past week (March 19-23) however, the breakfast buffet was pretty much inedible. I understand food service has changed due to COVID, but the system of standing in line while one person serves one plate at a time doesn't work very well. And the scrambled eggs and pancakes were inedible. Even your famous honey bacon wasn't up to par. I would suggest not having the buffet at all until the COVID restrictions are lifted. On the bright side, your staff — from check in to food service —is still excellent!!

Great location with onsite restaurants and walking paths. Heated pool was outstanding!

We are locals to Boise, but love to staycation here. Especially because of the heated pool. We've done this multiple times. Last time we brought other couples friends. I will say the beds are horribly uncomfortable, hard as a rock, it's almost tempting to socialize and go home to sleep. But this last time I will say I was really disappointed in the pool staff. The adult swim goes from 8 pm to 10 pm. When we were in the pool waiting for our tab to pay. An older man that had not been there helping until closing time, took all of our stuff and sweeping it off the table with his arm, with no regard to what may be sitting in our pile, so that he could cover the table for the night We had our phones sitting in our clothes. My boyfriend's was new that day. My boyfriend said sir, please be careful and the man ignored him. My boyfriend then went to the man, running to check on our things, and said sir you understand that is people's belongings you should be careful, and the man just shrugged his shoulders and kept moving along. There were still a lot of people in the pool so I'm not sure why he acted this way. No respect for others property. Thank God nothing was ruined, but it was startling and a disappointing way to end a fun night. Also when you make your reservation.. make sure you get a pool slot. We got there and we're told they didn't have any available, which I thought was strange when we rented a pool side room, I'm thankful they somehow got us in.
