Great location in the middle of all the night excitement. Wouldn't recommend a balcony if you are noise sensitive. The breakfast was really good and tasty.
Hotel Luna is the perfect place to stay. Its location is perfect, central to everything. The staff is very pleasant. The complimentary breakfast was delicious each morning. It is cooked to order from many choices. I would definitely return.
We had an excellent experience, the hotel is beautiful and clean, very good customer service I really recommend this hotel has a beautiful view from our room balcony, is in front of the Jardin Union few steps from Teatro Juarez, at night is awesome all the mariachi and band are there at Jardin Union playing beautiful songs.
1st night..They put me on the wrong room, 2nd night they got me the correct room but at midnight the bathroom faucet star leaking.
It has very confortable rooms, outside the hotel ir is the theater and an extraordinary environment..there are restaurants, music bars, all just some steps out of the hotel.
The room was horrible, very old and falling apart. the bed was hard as a rock and the pillows very old. The front door lock was broke. I did not feel secured at all. It was only one night and it was a sleepless night, given that I was traveling with my two kids. The room was not any of the rooms showing on the Hotels.com pictures. Breakfast was included with my room and that part was worth it with the exception that the waiter asked for the tip. Lol
Hotel Luna is wonderful... the location , staff and overall feeling of a warm welcoming . Will stay again
Centrally located in the Jardin, next to the Teatro. A very nice hot or cold breakfast with table service indoors or on the patio along the garden edge. We had booked a king size bedroom with a balcony. When we arrived we were advised that the room, being at the front of the building, is quite noisy at night. They offered us a two double bed room with a balcony at the back or side of the building. We took the latter. It was very spacious and clean although there was a Wick scented air freshener that had a very sweet scent. Once, we closed it, the room was fine. It was very nice having the French doors to open for the light and air. Reminder, the balconies are French balconies (i.e., no chairs, etc. for sitting outside). The sink was in the bedroom and separate from the shower/toilet, which was fine as the room was quite large. The TV does not have cable but does provide wi-fi if you have access to your Netflix, etc. account. Beds were comfortable and clean. Note: there are some rooms that have no windows (they would be great to reduce noise and if you are comfortable without a window, I suspect they might be less expensive). All in all, I would stay there again given its close proximity to sites and restaurants.
This is a lovely old style hotel right on the main Jardin which means it can be noisy, if you are sensitive to noise. But a blast if you enjoy Guanajuato nightlife. The staff is very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great!
Great location. Walkable to a lot of shopping and restaurants. Can get a bit loud on weekends due to its proximity to a bar nearby, so if you want a restful night, this hotel is not for you.
