Hotel in terrible condition / abandoned hotel
60% of the hotel is under reconstruction.
Service is according to staff members at the reception running at 50%; the room rates requested by Hilton are though 100%.
Rooms are not cleaned and beds are not made unless you ask for it explicitly at the reception.
Mini bar is empty.
Rooms, floor and furniture in very bad condition. No coffee/tea maker in the room.
Carpet throughout the hotel and in the rooms dirty with stains.
Pool sourroundings under reconstruction.
Gym in terrible condition.
You are allowed to use the gym only if you perform a corona self test which you have to bring in by yourself. Hotel unwilling in providing self tests.
There are no restaurants except the Byzantine that has not been refurbished since the 2004 Olympic Games. Dirty/ sticky tables.
No businesscenter
Whole building aesthetic is soviet style / abandoned.
Hotel sourroundings extremely noisy. Hotel situated on major avenues crossing. Also with closed balcony doors very noisy inside the room.
With the pretext of the corona pandemic this hotel has turned down hotel service and hospitality to a level not ever seen before in a five star hotel in the developed world.
This hotel is a downdrade for international tourism and a shame for Athens/ Greece.
Wondering how Hilton acquiesces this situation.
