Great location, great help from our local Hero, We would use this property again

The check in procedure is not correct & they do not give all of the information needed for parking or the location of the property. The gate for parking was broken & left open during my stay.

The property was in a great location for walking to the White House, FBI building and the end of the mall nearest to the monument. It is a gated community that feels safe. There is gated parking available on the property which was helpful. Communication was poor after I reserved the apartment online through Orbitz. Orbitz suggests you contact the property for more information yet there is no contact information other than electronic chat of which there was no reply. If we had not arrived before 5pm and happened upon a property office where they provided a contact number we would not have had accommodations our first night. Once you are in contact, then instructions are given to pick up the keys I a public place allowing check in flexibility. Be aware that Orbitz advertises 3pm check out- which is not the case. I rented the property based on check information given. Checkout is at 11. We rented this apartment and brought all our food for our stay since we traveled with children. The property says it sleeps six but the kitchen has dish-ware and seating at the table for four. There was a salt and pepper shaker but the salt was empty. Coffee was provided but he sugar was empty. Dishwashing liquid to clean in the sink was missing so everything needed to be washed in the dishwasher. For a two bedroom apartment, the bedrooms were quite roomy but then living area was cramped with 5 people especially when using the pull out couch and needing to move the coffee table.

Picking up the keys is a challenge- the key box is too far away from the property.

Som andre skriver, er det meget svært at få fat i nøglen. Vi måtte overnatte et andet sted første nat, da kontoret havde lukket (selvom der stod de lukkede 05.30). Vi kom næste dag, skulle gå 20 min til en 7 eleven, gå ind og få nøglerne via en nøglebox. Da vi kommer ind i lejligheden er der ingen balkon og der er bestemt ikke rent. Dårlig standard og der lugtede i hele lejligheden.
