Tru by Hilton Coppell DFW Airport North

Called ahead to find out about airport shuttle service to hotel. Person I spoke with was not sure if there was a shuttle nor times it ran. Once I arrived to the hotel to check in, front desk person gave me a room on the ground floor, I asked if I could have a room on any level other than the ground level as i did not feel safe. The person stated every room in the entire hotel was occupied so there was nothing that could be done. Room was decent, although there was no soap in the soap dispenser in the bathroom. The next day, I asked about availability to see if I could possibly change rooms and was told that I would be charged to do so. I was lectured about how housekeeping would have to clean the entire room that I was given - sounded more like an inconvenience to me than anything. I persisted and ended up switching rooms (at no charge) on the 3rd day. Saw a maintenance person working in the lobby twice with no mask on although there are signs everywhere stating masks are required on hotel property. The customer service (or lack thereof) was a huge issue for me. First time staying here and definitely last.

My stay was ok Just was never informed about the extra $60 fee for whateva that may used for but wasn’t explained just told me to swipe 172.35 + 60..232.35, but stated it would be reimbursed once I check out.

hotel was out of power and phones didn’t work. I had to take an Uber to the hotel ($50) only to find out that because of power outage, there were no rooms for rent. I understand acts of god, but you have my email and phone number. A phone call would have been nice.

The window in the room whistled with the blowing wind. The rooms need fans to make noise to kill the dead silence

Wonderful choice for me and my needs! The decor throughout made me smile. It’s fun, colorful and modern. Great hang out space in main lobby. Overall it was clean, simple, and supplied necessities. Hotel staff was friendly. A great deal for the price. Will definitely stay again if in the area!

Location is terrible. It’s a long way from everything. Received no maid service. Masks required.

I booked this hotel due to the hotel shuttle. On arrival to the airport, I found out the shuttle ony ran in the evening and did not run on weekends. This cost me an additional $50 in Uber fees.
