Holiday Inn San Antonio - Riverwalk

Restroom was dirty, the tube and toilet, also the beds weren’t comfortable at all, it sucks that we have to pay parking I feel like it should be included with the room

This hotel is fine as hoteks go, but i still thought overall, for the price, i would have liked more. It is a bit older, our room was pretty small. It IS on the riverwalk (albeit a small corner) and i think that is why its pricier. The bathroom in my room had severe draining issues both tub and sink, but a call to the desk and it was fixed. It was a noisy hall late into the night but it was New Years too. The staff was friendly and great--and the highlight. Very helpful, even with a late dinner. But, next time i will stay a block from the river walk and pay less. I dont need to be directly on it.

Nice staff, great location, less than great hotel

Check in was good, the beds were supposed to be queen size but really were twins, so 2 people sleeping in one bed was tight and uncomfortable. The walls by the beds were dirty, you could see dirt lines. On the toilets you could see it wasn’t properly cleaned because there was visible dirt and dust particles on the flush buttons. The parking was a hit or miss. We arrived before the cut off time and apparently the garage was full and was told by the attendant who was very nice by the way to find any parking spot available regardless if it was handicap or employee parking. The room had a decent view of the river, it was a little steep but you could see the river. It was walking distance from everything so that was nice. Breakfast is not included, you have to pay for what you order at the hotel restaurant.

We had an issue with three dogs barking on our floor and called the front desk, they handled it beautifully. Felt sorry for the dogs being left alone in their rooms.

We asked to check in early the day before we left they told us to call in the am so we did then said to call around noon. We did that too & went to the hotel then they said not likely! They should of told us that to begin with!!! Not happy with that!! Didn’t get to check on until 4pm! Also the sink didn’t work but we didn’t tell them until we check out ! Disappointed for sure! They should check those kinds of things each time the room is cleaned! Makes your wonder!!!
