The Hotel was as advertised, i.e. quality and comfort. However the ammenities were incorrectly advertised. Early checkin was advertised on Hotels.com but the hotel didn't honor it. Continental breakfast was advertised on Hotels.com but the hotel offered something different with Starbucks. We paid a higher rate for 4 family members but the hotel only had us down for 2 people. Hotel a pics of a pool but I had to call the hotel directly to see if it was open because there was nothing on the hotels.com site noting it was closed. Hilton side; well I was parking the car they wouldn't let my wife checkin without me there. Same last name kids and bags in hand??? Room next to us was playing blaring music until early in the morning that we finally had to call about. Security took care of it quickly but you'd think one sweep of the floor at anytime before 1AM would have caught it. This was miscommunication between Hotels.com and Hilton but we were the bearers of the experience. I booked the hotel for the early checkin for the breakfast and thinking we would get a good night's sleep. Not upset just truthful about my experience.
Overall our stay was great. Due to current Covid restrictions, some services were unavailable such as bell services and valet which would have been helpful for our particular situation (lots of luggage). However, our room was clean and comfortable.
This hotel has not made any effort to make their Covid restrictions trouble free for their guests. They have a limited area for you to drive up and park when you check in, no staff members to assist with your luggage, their front desk staff are poorly trained and check in takes longer than it does at other hotels. They don’t have valet so you have to leave your car parked, and then when the check in process takes the time it does they make you move your car a couple of times while you’re trying to get your bags out, then you have to run your bags up to the room, Then, although the offsite parking is truly just across the street because of the one-way roads in downtown Denver it takes five minutes to drive there and park your car. Definitely not a hotel to stay at unless you have an extra adult to help you with that process, and I really wouldn’t recommend it for anybody traveling with small children. There are far too many hotels in the downtown area that have made their Covid process seamless and easy. There was nothing easy about this check in. Also they will charge you $50 if you want to check in prior to 3 o’clock, and they charge $25 per hour if you want late check out. When a hotel is hosting conventions on their property they know that there’s a certain number of people that are going to need early or late check in and checkout, and these charges represent a 25 to 50% up charge on your room cost. I would recommend staying somewhere else.
Everything was as expected so for the staff in the morning. The staff member I spoke with was very rude condescending didn't want to help me with my issue and gave me a hard time about hooking a few more nights in the end we got it done but it was very embarrassing for me
Good clean rooms, T.v didn’t work, and had to pay 32$ for parking
Condoms around the shower head hair on the toliet very flirty
The location of the hotel was great! It’s at a walking distance from the 16th Street mall, which has plenty of shops and restaurants. The check in was quick and easy and the hotel staff was helpful as far as directing us to the best local attractions. I was a bit disappointed about the room size and the shower size. It was extremely small and we could barely move around without bumping into something. The bed was extremely hard, we continuously woke up during the night and were sore from how hard the bed was. Also this hotel has no guest parking so we did have to use the parking garage across the street. It would’ve been helpful and save us some money if we would’ve been told that we must pay parking ahead of time online. I only found that out after calling the hotel after being charged $30 for a few hours of parking.
The location was amazing. Everything we wanted to do downtown was within walking distance. Parking was the only thing that I wish I could change, But i do understand, due to the limited parking areas that is available. Friendly and Professional Staff. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.
The hotel is in a great location! Right downtown in walking distance to restaurants and shops (block away from the 16th St outside mall). The hotel was excellent but due to the pandemic only Starbucks was available for a few hours in the AM. No room service but you could switch out towels at the front desk. The only issues we had were that the rooms were pretty small but comfortable and the bathroom sliding door got stuck a few times because it came off the tracks.
Stay was okay...parking is such a hassle...and pool was closed. Shower has slow drain. Our room had no circulation it was just hot and muggy. Couldnt go below 60 on thermostat. Overpriced for all that was going on.
