Property was very walkable to the main strip and beach, however can be quite noisy at times. The room was smaller than expected (hard to open two luggages in the living area) and the rooms arent all sound proof. There was one night where we could hear people laughing snd talking from our room at the bar nearby.

First time in Puhket was amazing!

We had a great stay in Puhket. It's tough to get around the island, due to all the traffic, so I'd recommend staying and doing things in one general area, so you don't lose a lot of your time traveling. The hotel staff is very courteous and kind. They have a weird check-out process where they have to go and check your room while you wait in the lobby before returning your deposit, but nice place overall.

Nice hotel with all the required facilities. Breakfast was international buffet and was great. Staff were friendly and professional. Plenty of places nearby to eat, to walk around buying touristy stuff, even has a coin laundromat just meters from the hotel. Walking distance to Kata Beach, though it is through a pathway which has been closed off as much of the pathway is slanted and looks very near to collapsing into the canal beside it.

In the center of all the shopping, restaurants (the night market), and a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Noises from the night bars (speaker systems) can be heard in the hotel. We are up seven floors up and still the bass from the music played echos in our room.

We stayed with our 2 nearly teenage girls. We choose this as we didnt have to all stay in the same room. 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom was perfect for us. 10 min walk to beach, 2 mins to kata night market. Staff were great at keeping us informed when there was a flood due to excessive rain (not there fault and although we lost power for over 24 hours, the staff tried everything possible)

This is a great place for a family to stay for a visit to the Phuket area. Although not right on the beach, Kata is walking distance (10 mins) and there is a free hotel shuttle there and back several times a day. There is also the Kata Street Walking Market directly across the street but far enough down that noise doesn't travel. Perfect for evening eats! We also loved the hotel pool and the breakfast buffet with plenty of Thai and Western options. Would have been nice if they mopped the floors of our hotel room as part of their cleaning, as they got quite sandy and gross. Had to call down to ask for it, but still they only swept it. Overall a very comfortable stay for our family of 5 in a 2 bedroom family suite!

Had an amazing stay at the Grand Kata. Staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Location is great, walking distance to Kata and Karon beach and 10 min ride to Patong. 1-2 minute walk to the local markets and shops. Rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Separate air conditioning in each room and large balcony. Bathrooms were clean and nice to use. Breakfast buffet was excellent, a very wide range of food from traditional thai food to western breakfast options with an assortment of fruits and pastries. Freshly cooked eggs of your choice. Nice gym and pool although the pool would be a bit small if it gets crowded. Overall would definately recommend staying here, very convenient location, clean and well priced.

The Grand Kata was a very nice hotel. The room was spacious and clean (we were in a 2 bedroom room). The pool was nice, the breakfast was very good with many choices including having eggs made for you any way you like. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff did a great job cleaning the room every day. My biggest negative was how incredibly busy it was everywhere around the hotel. I don't know why but I expected it to be somewhat secluded but it is in the middle of an extremely congested city life. The positive about that was the many food choices easily within walking distance. But there are people and vehicles everywhere. It was a bit of a walk to Kata beach which is absolutely beautiful. You can rent chairs and an umbrella for 100 baht per person which is reasonable and there are food stands on or just off the beach. If you understand how busy your surroundings will be and are OK with that then you should be very satisfied with the Grand Kata.

Noisy. They play loud music in outdoor dining until 22:00 some nights. People talking loud all night. At 4 am they have someone removing 100’s of bottles which is extremely loud. Ordered room service first day. They repeated order back correctly. Sent one wrong dish. Called and room service agreed it was wrong and hung up laughing. No new food. Complained down at Front desk who removed it from our bill and apologized. Breakfast had too many people. Rice inky on every 3rd day. Always out of bacon. Pool was overcrowded. No room to even sit. For cost it shouldn’t have so many problems. Room was beautiful. Cleaning staff was awesome.
