Great guesthouse in a town that’s not so nice

The guesthouse is new, well designed and spotless. They have a full kitchen that one can use to cook a meal. The town is not very nice, but there is one good restaurant 3 min walk from the Guesthouse plus there’s a gas station where one can get snacks.

The room is spacious and clean. The view is amazing and mesmerizing. The property is mouse quiet. The room had one operable window which allowed fresh air entry. The bed was very comfortable. The Harbor restaurant next door was VERY GOOD.

Just a place to sleep, however it thankfully had a place to do laundry and cook food. Not enough pillows given---one per person isn't enough. The restaurant right down the road was excellent.

Excellent, updated/modern guesthouse. Kitchen has all the dining tools you need. Room is large and spacious as is the bathroom. The best part is the view from your room to the ocean. Saw whales from the rear of my room. Absolutely beautiful walk to beach and water from room. Highly recommend.

The place is very close to the ocean. But we had a hard time finding the email that was supposed to be sent with instructions for check in. We finally realized that the keys were on the doors.

Rooms were so tiny we had to buy a second room

We had great communication with the property and they were so accommodating. However, when we showed up, we walked into the room and couldn't really fit. There was no where to store our bags and we ended up having to buy a second room just so we could sleep comfortably. However, the joint kitchen was lovely - we had a large fridge we could use and enjoyed the space until late in the evening.

Εντιμη διαμονή μιας βραδιας σε όχι καλό σημειο (Περιοχή με επαγγελματικά κτηρια) Καθαρό δωμάτιο όμως είχε χαμηλή θερμοκρασία και κακή διαρρυθμιση. Αναπαυτικό στρώμα και πρόσβαση στο παρκινγκ. Ελλειψη ιδιωτικότητας λόγω θέσης του δωματίου. Πολυ μικρός χώρος πρωινού οχι ιδιαίτερα καθαρός που εξυπηρετουσε παράλληλα και τα πλυντήρια. Μια στοιβα λευκα είδη (πλυμμένα η άπλυτα?) στον καναπέ πρωινού και κάποιες άλλες λεπτομέρεις μας απέτρεψαν να χρησιμοποιησουμε το χώρο.

It’s a very good Guest House and it’s got facilities you need for cooking and washing your clothes. The only advice is that the rooms need to have TV and cable channels. As rooms currently don’t have these. I will still stay at the guesthouse though 👍👍👍

Tolles ubd gut ausgestattetes Guesthouse

Tolles Guesthouse am Ende des Dorfes und am Rande des Hafens. Hatten ein Zimmer mit Meerblick was durchs große Panoramafenster auch gegeben ist. Zweistöckiges Gästehaus mit 14 Zimmer und pro Stockwerk eine absolut vollausgestattete Küche, sowie pro Stockwerk je eine Waschmaschine und ein Wäschetrockner von Samsung. Parkplätze am Haus und 30m höher auf den Dünen. Zimmer geräumig mit Sitzgelegenheit und sehr bequemen Betten. Was ganz wichtig ist: Haus hat heißes Wasser durch Geothermie. Heißt: das Wasser riecht was mn mögen muss! 😁In der Email nach Buchung wird auch ausdrücklich daeauf hingewiesen!😉

Salthús Guesthouse in Skagaströnd – A Peaceful Icelandic Retreat This was our second time staying at Salthús Guesthouse, and it continues to be a hidden gem in Iceland. The drive there alone is breathtaking, with stunning views of the landscape. The guesthouse is located near a cliff where you can gaze out at the vast ocean—if you’re lucky, it’s a perfect spot to photograph the aurora borealis. However, keep in mind that it’s a windy area. A short drive away is Kálfshamarsvík, home to a square-shaped lighthouse surrounded by green grass and basalt columns along the sea. It’s an amazing spot for photos and a must-see for nature lovers. The guesthouse itself offers comfortable beds and clean, spacious rooms. The two-story building is beautiful, but I recommend contacting the property if you have difficulty with stairs. For those who love nature and want to escape the crowds, this remote location is perfect. The peace and serenity you’ll feel here are truly unique. Since there aren’t many dining options nearby, be sure to stop at a grocery store and take advantage of the guesthouse’s fully equipped kitchen. Alternatively, the B&S restaurant is a 20-minute drive away, and there’s a nearby seasonal restaurant within walking distance. If you’re seeking tranquility and a beautiful setting, Salthús Guesthouse is the place to be.

This place is insane!!! We had the room with sea view in the upper level of the building. The guesthouse has everything what you wish for. You can use the washing machine for free. The kitchen is superclean, as well as the rooms. Perfectly perfect. Definitely recommend this one.
