Mixed reviews but it’s a cute Inn
It was a mixed stay. Day 1 we were not pleased. The room we got wasn’t Iike anything we saw online. The ceilings slanted in and were so low (room210) My partner is 6’3. It didn’t work. He hit his head at least three times. I also had an allergic reaction to some of the bedding and couldn’t figure out where. The front staff were nice enough and tried to be helpful but nothing above and beyond as far as customer service goes. They also had a wedding on which I wasn’t aware of to begin with which meant there was a possibility we couldn’t use the restaurant. We decided to do room service. The food wasn’t bad. Nothing spectacular but decent enough that we did it the second night as well. A bit over priced for what you get but oh well.
Day 2 they moved us to a new room which was much better. It didn’t feel cramped and we could walk freely. The view out the window was really nice with the freshly fallen snow. The room was lovely and well decorated. Spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The raspberry sorbet dessert was incredible. It’s a really cute place.
We didn’t use the spa but it’s nice to know we could have had that option.
Overall I’d give it a 3.5/5 stars.
The front staff could be more personable and knowledgeable. I got a lot of “I don’t knows” but if you’re looking for a getaway, that feels out of the city, in Mississauga ON this place is a good choice.
