We really liked the hotel, everything was clean and well taken care of. The Staff was awesome from the checkin guys like Welfrin to the restaurant servers. Always willing to take an extra step. The only complaint is that they cancelled a reservation at the last minute when we were ready to go to the restaurant. Also the food in the buffet could have a little more flavoring. Outside of that it was a really good time. We would come back.

The wars hotel I been room was dirty head of bed was very dirty and the wall in our head was all dust we can open fan because everything come to our bed.The second day my kids have food poison and fiver diarrhea and vomit and they don’t allowed me to take the food from bade to bring to the sick kid and wen I ask them to bring water to give the mediation they come after 4 hours after I call 3 times because nobody came to clean the room that day and to stock the fridge.I appreciate what Alejandra try to do for us but she has other people on top. And for the food was the same food every day and not fresh.

We stayed for 7 nights and loved the beach and the pool- The food is mediocre esp the restaurants that require booking are mediocre as best. They do not even have air conditioning at the restaurants. The spa is nice and our concierge Alejandra was the best!! the rest of the staff esp in the buffets were overworked and not friendly. Use the mini bar for your drinks because waiting to get water or soda or even a drink will take ages. There are only few bars and even fewer bartenders. The property is beautiful but if you are goodie or enjoy good drinks this place is not for you. I would love to come back but will look for another resort that cares about their quality of food and beverages they procvide for their customers.

The hotel needs an aggressive pest control initiative, roaches everywhere and rats. The room has pets excrement in the windows passages. Otherwise, a very nice property. I have a video of a small roach in the sofa bed when I first arrived; very unfortunate.

Grand sirenis is excellent for a family vacation, especially with younger children. They have amenities for everyone and the food and dining experience at the restaurants and buffet were laudable (wide variety of options). Depending on where your room is, the walk to and from pool, waterpark, buffet and other amenities can be a little challenging (we were averaging 8000 steps per day, moving to and from the pool, waterpark, etc.). The rooms in my opinion were a little outdated. They were clean for the most part, but still outdated. Where I felt the best experience and where the rooms can be made up for was the client service. It was nothing short of top tier, VIP treatment. There are concierge offices for every building and at each shift change, the manager on duty would to call your room to ensure all was going well and to cater to any needs, discord or discrepancies one might have. Luz and David were simply the best - when we were apprehensive about the rooms, they were immediate in their response to provide us with alternatives and options to better suit our needs and desires. David checked in daily, always accommodating and being present to anything we might have needed. I am happy with the quality treatment and experience I had at the Grand Sirenis and will be sure to recommend for any future stays!

Reading the reviews before going to this resort made me incredibly nervous. However our experience there wasn't at all like what many have said, thankfully. Our room was clean and spacious, and they cleaned and restocked it everyday. The AC worked really well and there were fans going as well. The only thing that could've been better was the bathroom fan, which was barely a fan. When we got to the hotel we were able to check in pretty easily, they brought us drinks while we checked in. The food was ok, not exciting or gourmet, but good and definitely edible unlike some comments I'd read. If be careful about eating the charcuterie they had out but otherwise we enjoyed the meals at the main buffet. The el bohio buffet was nice to eat lunch at because they were more lenient with people eating there in bathing suits, however there were birds inside the restaurant so you had to really watch what fruit you ate (recommend only taking fruit where the birds couldn't reach). They also had a beach bbq area that was ok. We made reservations to the Italian and Brazilian restaurant and both were good. The resort was beautiful and the beach was great. They have a playground and the little kids water park was fun. I also loved the coffee shop. The pools were good, though stay away from the main pool by the bar when it's busy it stinks as grown adults are drunk and peeing there. Overall it was a great trip for us! The people here are definitely overworked and exhausted but doing their best.
