I spent three nights at the Sea Net Hotel to participate in the Tel Aviv Marathon on 26 February. The evening before the Marathon, I asked at the reception whether they could book a taxi for me for the next morning to take me to the marathon start area, which is 5 km from the hotel. The man at the reception grunted that this is not possible because all streets would be blocked next morning due to the marathon, so they could do NOTHING for me. Next morning I saw LOTS of taxis cruising the (blocked) streets, but all were pre-booked - exactly what I had hoped for myself! I ended up WALKING to the marathon start area, which in the end was a nice 5 km warm up :-) But I did not like the attitude of the hotel that more or less left me stranded. They did not even try to help me. So thumbs down for the service, at least for the guy at the reception that evening (25 February).
For the rest, the hotel is ok, very close to the beach. The WiFi works well, and breakfast is good.
