as far as accommodations in Kata Beach, it is a great value. it's only a short walk to the beach and it has plenty of parking which parking is hard to find in Kata. 15 minute taxi ride to Patong Beach. very family friendly and not crowded like Patong Beach. definitely better for families.

We loved our stay at Kata palm resort. Three awesome pools. Breakfast had many options. We were able to walk to most shops we needed. The staff were lovely. We had originally booked into the royal blue wing, however it is quite a walk to the restaurants and the street, so we moved closer in, the staff facilitated the move with grace. We would stay here again

We had a great room with walk out to the pool. Room was clean.pool was great. The food in the hotel including breakfast, room service and the restaurant were okay but not great. Location fantastic. Id stay again.

Liked roof top pool. Room was good size although lighting poor in room and furniture was rather old & creaky. Housekeeping regular & room cleaned daily. Travel desk lady was very helpful & booked 2 trips which were enjoyable and value for money.

Room was clean and tidy.We found reception staff a little unfriendly, breakfast was the same everyday and very bland. Hotel had 2 restaurants, but there was no menu's or any information to premote them . The hotel had only bar's near the pool's which closed at about 6.00pm,there was nowhere have a quiet drink with friends after that.

The swim up pool was great, but whole kata area is really crowded and you need to get through busy street to get to the beach. As cleanness goes Kids Club was quite dirty and baby chair saw better time so paint was peeling off. Otherwise room and pools were nice and clean. One another issue was door to pool did not close properly and was probably open for long before we came since when we arrived room was already full of mosquitoes

Bel hôtel et bon emplacement .le personnel très gentil .très bon rapport qualité prix . J ai juste été déçus car nous avions réservé une grande chambre pour ma famille .et je n avais pas fait attention .mais nous avons été mis dans des chambres tout au fond de l hôtel .c est certainement les chambres les moins bien placés de l hôtel .aucun extérieur ,une déco hyper sombre ,le couloir des chambres vraiment pas accueillant ,et très bruyant .une enfilade de chambres mal insonorisé.si vous avez un voisin bruyant comme on a eu vous êtes cuits .dommage car il y a des chambres avec vue extérieure sur la piscine qui n ont rien a voir .a savoir car j aurai du mieux regarder les possibilités.aussi pas top le petit déjeuner très limité et si vous venez tard il y a presque plus rien dommage . Sinon le reste très bien . Vraiment la piscine est magnifique

Not terrible but needs work.

Staff is unhappy and speak very little to no zero English at all, so that makes things difficult. They also take 1000 bht from you as a damage deposit. The swim up bars are boring as hell and they treat smokers like cockroaches. Breakfast is blah blah and not delicious. But over all the place is nice, really good tropical surroundings and many pools to choose from. All in all a pretty good value and not a bad place. Barely anyone eats there and there must be a reason for it.

Flott service, veldig fint rom og kjempebra bassenger! Gir den ikke toppkarakter på grunn av litt skuffende mat fra roomservice, åpningstidene på bassenget (7 am til 7 pm) og mangel på oversikt over når rommet ble rengjort. Alt i alt trivdes vi veldig godt og kommer gjerne tilbake 👍

We recommend paying the extra for the pool access room which was nice. The pool is massive though on the cooler side compared to other pools in Thailand. We were able to check in early, which was appreciated. There are many food options nearby and the buffet breakfast was fine.
