Overall the property was clean, modern, had a great location and was a good value. But the biggest plus for us was the staff, especially Sonya (?) at the front desk who spent a half hour getting us train tickets for the next day that we thought we had under control. Without her help our simple little train trip would have been a stressful mess, we can't thank her enough.

Amazing hotel in a great location, but most importantly the most friendliest and caring staff. Thank you Benjamin and the entire staff for everything you did during our stay. Overall Beau Rivage is a very nice hotel with attentive and accomodating staff. Hotels.com lisiting raved about the access to the Beau Rivage beach club, with chairs and free towels. I decided to pay much more that competing hotels and reserve on Sep 29. When I arrived on Sep 30, I was very disappointed to learn the beach club was closed for the season. Hotels.com listing was mis-leading! and a recent check still highlights access to the beach club as a major benefit :(

Great location! Large food options at the breakfast buffet. However, no restaurant within the Hôtel building, you’ll have to cross the street to reach the restaurant lounge by the beach. Otherwise, plenty of restaurants to chose from within walking distance from the hotel.

Location was great. Super close to Cours Saleya market and restaurants. Hotel is old and tired, really needs some updating. Thought I booked a room with patio or balcony, but only had a view of a patio. One bartender was amazing, the other one a bit surly. Clean? Clothes from previous guest found in a cupboard, wondering about was and was not cleaned after that. Front desk staff very nice and helpful.

Way overpriced, old rooms, don’t expect 4-star.

Completely outdated room, especially the bathroom which was falling apart. Dirty old carpet and closet. Lobby outdated but in decent condition, but smelled like sewage. Good service and great location, but not at all what one would expect of a 4 star. It’s 2 star on condition, 3-4 star on service and 5 star on location. Breakfast is included but also at a 2-3 star level. Presentation is poor and food not great at all, very basic. Again, friendly staff. Advertised as having a private beach, but doesn’t specify that you need to pay for your beach chairs on top of paying your room, which is ridiculous for a so-called 4 star hotel, and feels like they’re trying to pull one on you, so we simply didn’t go to their beach club. I’m the end, way overpriced for what it offers.wont stay there again and won’t recommend.

Convenient location but loud and outdated

The staff were friendly and location was very convenient. However, the hotel is very outdated. The blowdryer was so old it was practically unusable. Coffee machine did not work and shot out coffee everywhere but into the cup. Air condition barely worked at all and the room was hot and muggy. Carpet felt dirty. The hotel is located right next to an outdoor concert venue so it was unbearably loud every night of the weekend until 1am at least. I would not stay here again

This hotel is very well located right in the heart of Nice’s vieux ville, adjacent to the plage, and the central downtown shopping restaurant and shopping district. It’s a bit run down and definitely understaffed, however, so don’t expect more

It is a great hotel close to the beach and the promenade. We had a great stay till we had to pay and for some reason their system couldn’t process credit cards from the United States. So, be aware and bring euros because they won’t accept dollars. It was kind of uncomfortable, at the end my husband suggested them to send us a link to pay online with the same credit cards they couldn’t process and voila! Their online system actually worked. After an hour of trying every credit card our family owned.

Lovely luxury four-star hotel just off the main market and see front in Nice. Helpful and courteous staff gave us a warm welcome on arrival. Bedroom was excellent, quiet at night, utterly spotless with a modern designer shower room. The range of options at breakfast buffet was nice, but the room was really cramped and crowded. The staff keep bumping into the guests in the narrow space between the chairs and tables - which is unfortunate for a buffet. The hotel really need to sort this. Overall a lovely place to stay but some room for improvement.
