I have stayed at this hotel numerous times on my trips from the east coast on my way to Michigan. The only issue on this trip was that the desk chair was completely broken, was listing to one side and was almost unusable. It needs to be replaced. I was in room 139.

The Comfort Inn Maumee was a great stay for our family. It was a 15-20 mins drive to all the activities we had booked which made everything very accessible via car. We had a decent breakfast included, the pool was great and the hotel was clean. We would stay again !

People were talking outside our second floor room and it was extremely loud. This was because people waiting to be picked up sit on a bench below the rooms window. Move the bench! Other than that it was fine.

Roach Motel

The worst hotel I have ever seen. I checked in late and my child was already sleeping so I stayed unfortunately. The place is infested with roaches and smells. I put my luggage back in the car being afraid I might bring some home if they climbed inside our bags. 0 stars if I could.

Check in is 3:00. Got to hotel at 8:30 and our scheduled room hadn't even been cleaned yet. This is on a Wednesday. We had arrived with a takeout dinner and had to eat in our truck. Upstairs cafe was offered but was a hassle as room is on first floor. Staff was nice. Room was ready in a half hour. Floors really creak when people on second floor walk.

The hotel was clean, and even though it was located on a busy road, our room was quiet. The staff was very nice. The room was decent and was mostly clean (our ice bucket was dirty), but it smelled a bit musty. Turning on the air conditioning helped a bit with that, but maybe it has just been damp and rainy in Toledo....I don't know. Anyway the pool was small but nice and seemed clean. Breakfast was pretty average. It was adequate, but I've had better hotel breakfasts with better selection. Overall our stay was good, and the price wasn't too unreasonable.

Older hotel that needs some updates

The gentleman at the front desk was very kind. I am handicapped and walk with a walker. He could tell I was having a hard time. He brought my paperwork to me and then offered to help me to my room. He walked with me to the room and opened the door and burned on the lights for me. I was so appreciative of him. He was at the front desk when I checked out in the morning as well. The room itself was ok. The carpeting looked very old. My white socks looked filthy after walking on the carpeting. The bathroom did not have bars near the side to help me stand up. The bars were on the back of the toilet. I’m not sure how those are supposed to help. Also, the toilet seat slipped when I sat down on it. It was not secure.
